My earliest memories are of drawing on anything and everything that I could find. It was like my hands were compelled to create on their own, before I could even rationalize what I was doing. When I was a little kid, I was obsessed with animals and nature, and when I saw anything that amazed me, I had to race home so that I could draw it. I probably drew an infinite amount of horses and cats, and my little sketchbooks and stacks of papers just kept piling up.
When I got to high school, it was clear that I needed to focus my future on something artistic, but that scary question that loomed over me was "how?" I knew I could draw and paint, but I didn't have faith that I would be able to support myself that way. I graduated high school in 2000, right when computers were becoming an integral tool in the process of art creation. One of my parents' friends told us about graphic design, and from there, everything just fell into place. Since then, I have spent an embarrassing number of years in the design world and have loved it.
I hope you see many things here that give you ideas and inspire you to create! If you would like to see completed creations or if you would like to reach out, feel free to visit my blog.-
