Five "patch" dimensional point panels are built using different cardstock prints. Each "patch" is then fit into position on the slot base, inserting tab pairs into corresponding slot pairs and lining up needle holes on edge flanges. Star rim is fit over assembly, then soft twine or perle cotton is laced through lined-up needle holes. Finally back star is positioned and attached to show "clean" back. Use one of two bracket styles: end tabs with circles to accept a .25" painted wooden dowel as wand (dowel is also glued in place); or fold-in-half for strength double punched hang loop (shown with added wooden bead). Ornament measures just smaller than 4.5" wide x 4.25" tall when finished. View assembly guide at http://needlesnknowledge.blogspot.com/2017/06/patchwork-3d-star-ornament.html.
