Conjuring the essence of summer fun, this box can decorate a shelf or summer display. Remove the top to place treats or trinkets inside for a party favor. Fill with something heavy (like a sealed baggie of sand or rock candy) and use it to keep the napkins and paper plates from blowing away at the summer picnic. Construction: Fold base wedge shape inward on perforations, side tabs toward back. Begin at center section to glue each tab to corresponding section edge. Fold top section “bite†perforations inward (valley folds) and end two perforations backward (mountain folds). Glue bite section to bite cutouts on side piece(s) from center outward. Adhere red overlays to sides, then top section with bite. Adhere green outer shapes, top green shapes, seeds (tiny hole cutouts show positioning). Scaling note: because this lid and base fit closely together in the original size, scaling larger will increase the allowance between lid and base; scaling smaller is not recommended.
